Dolores AlbarracĂ­n has changed the way scholars think about basic and applied psychology. Her work focuses on the impact of communication on personal behavior: from the HIV epidemic and opioid addiction to flu and covid vaccination programs, she has applied theory to practice in ways that increase the effectiveness of health messaging and help blunt our susceptibility to misinformation and conspiracy theories.
